i'v got the extreme brilliants bulbs from halfrauds and they are a world above standard bulbs, iirc they did a comparison with bulbs in a mag quite a while back and the halfrauds ones came on top, but like said this was a while ago, i'v had mates tell me how bright mine look and they light the road up alot better then standard and cos my mk2 mondy has dip and HB on whilst you have HB on they light up half the motorway

i'd say they where pretty good but havent known anyone using the phillips ones to compare with.

oh and the last set i brought from halfrauds blew in 4 months but the ones i had for my escort lasted a year and i'v still got them working just not the car as it got written off , i brought another set to replace them as i'm hoping it was just a bad batch, the main beams i fitted still haven't blown it was just the pair i fitted to the dip that blew.
