Your points are SPOT ON, I owned a VTR for 2 years and can cetainly relate to things you've mentioned above as they all happened to me, highlighted in BOLD.

Plus side: Very quick for a 1600 8v, cetainly faster than my bonus that had a 1600cvh in .Handle really well but I wouldnt have another one
