Wow guys what a response, thank you so much for talking the time to write those replys! I was going to wash it and tidy it up but they are just going to pick it up, she has to send in her V5 and service history then they will give her a value over the phone / letter. I asked my mate to get a value today from his work if he could manage from the glass book, it was £625 trade and £1625 retail ( some differance) but this was before I knew they couldent use that for insurance. But If they say quote glass and I can quote the £1625 back then that would be fine if they accepted as the cars seem to be sitting around £1200. I will start printing ads off and thank you for the tip about the local ones, they can be so dammed sneaky, using ads will be a big help.
Indemnity - great thanks at least I can pronouce it and know what it means now, I dont know whether to say that with the first quote or use it before they even quote so they will offer a better price to start and not have to be mucked around for so long.
