you could conceivably spend £400 on a set of tyres that will last you a year or spend £660 on a set that will last you a few months while it's hot and sunny and dry
Dojj thats cobblers - Good Road tyres do not only last a few thousand miles and do not only work in the dry!
I have a set of Potenza's on the front of the Mondeo Diesel Estate( a heavy car at over 2 metric tonnes )......not cheap, they've done 13k and are hardly worn, the Goodyears on the back have done more and also are hardly worn! they are both reconed to be amongst the best performing tyres ( especially if you listen to the mongs on the internet )
My rear tyres on my old fiesta were still above 5mm after 64k!!!!!!
