I was going to do a Mini pick up, the BMW version in either 1/18 or 1/24. Thought cut the model up then use milliput to fill, plasticard (think thats what its called) for the bed and some sort of cable / wire for a roll cage / bull bars.
To use bigger wheels, just make sure they fit under the arches. My 1st Mk3 Escort had EsCos wheels on that stuck out as I didnt cut them down enough. Then when I did, It was an amazing difference.
