I presume they had a marker on the day, we take people out and advise a very safe braking zone. I would imagine that Rod/Mark left it as late as they dared. So depending on where the marker was it does make the M5's speed very impressive. Having said that, the extra 20mph that Rod's car achieved is still staggering.
