I'd recommend getting getting the injectors tested before spending money on recoding widgets. If the injector(s) are shot a recode will just delay the inevitable. A recode should really only be used when new ones are fitted. Reprogramming old injectors tells the ECU that the injectors are new, and as a result they won't work as effectively as recalibrated ones (where you get a new 16 digit code).

The injectors are the weak point of the car, the DMF issues are no worse than any other DMF equipped car!

EDIT: just re-read your message properly, and you do have 'new injectors' stupid me!!
