Do the west coast start up in san fran and drive down through california down to the mexican border, plenty of different sites then make your way back upto vegas for one last blow out. I did vegas last year and did trips out to these kind of places but always returned to vegas.

. Just checked how far that would be for driving, only 500. Could do that easily over 6-8 days, stopping off on the way. Wonder what traffic and driving is like over there though? Could easily go to the Grand Canyon and Death Valley there too!
