i don't want to spend "thousands" but not knowing what a kitchen costs, i'm going in here blind
main cost is going to be fixing the bits that are lurking behind the false walls, as the previous owner had a habit of just boxing stuff in as and when, even the water pipes go across the wall, up the wall, over the top of the wall, and then down the other side rather than up the corner and into the roof space ebfore dropping down
but it's also the floor thats fucked, the suspended ceiling that's fucked, all the plumbing thats all over the place, the sagging shelves and the fact that the chip board is starting to rot, not to mention the work tops that slope the wrong way for the sink to work (an that they are the 26mm tops rather than the 40mm the sink is designed to work with

)
so you can see there are a mountain of problems
