Unless you know 100% the chip is correct for the spec, ie turbo, map, injectors etc etc etc, then it is going to be a long while in fixing, I would suggest you open ecu, if for example it is a msd chip, just ring msd as very helpfully they keep records of all the chips with the details(specs) it is for, just tell them the number from the chip.
