I have a 1.3 Ford Ka, 03 Reg. For a while now it has been juddering every so often whilst accellerating, but nothing major. However in the last couple of weeks it has got considerably worse. We have changed the spark plugs and the ht leads and this has made no difference.

Today the engine warning light has come on (and went off after 5 miles). Is this connected? All the fluid levels etc are all fine.

I've been advised to try changing the coil pack to stop the juddering, is this recommended? and is it easy to do?

The cars only done 50k miles, so hoping it is not a major issue to resolve!
