OK, I now have this in my grasp but was wondering how easy/hard it is to fit it?

My lack of knowledge is out standing, so would it be a job that a novice could do on his own?
Its just that the car is sitting on my drive waiting to be fixed and as I cant afford to get someone to do it atm I thought I might be able to try!

Also, I cant remember if it was on here but I saw a thread with an on-line maintanance guid in it. Any idea as to where it is please?
