I am going to sound like a dufus now though, but could you give me a bit of an explanation of what a scuttle is/looks like?

Not had the focus very long and with the weather as it has been, I haven't poked around it much yet. All I have done so far is just changed the lead and plugs because it not perfect at re starting after it has got warmed up but reading through some of the threads on here, it sounds like my next step should be the coil pack. The plugs were ready for it though anyway.

Its collecting a bit of a list of odds and ends now though, needs a new alternator belt n pulley, new gas struts for the boot lid, and with all the pot holes that have appeared recently, I suspect it needs a wheel alignment as soon as I get home.
