Any driver who incurs 12 or more penalty points within a 3-year period faces automatic disqualification under the under "totting -up" system
that means they count for 3 years, come off after 4, still the same as before, years ago ( when i was 17
) points would be on ya licence for 2 years unless disqualified and then would be on for 3 years

, but then as i said it allows the copper to look at you as being a first timer and just giving ya shit, imagine brom having 27 points on his licence and geting done for a illegal right hand turn, no chance then, there gonna fook ya
