When u say drop in it tabs do u mean basically a u bend like the original map sensor pipe fitting has?! like the one in the pic?!

might be a bit of a problem then as the bore of the connector on the sensor is smaller than the pipe ive got so wont fit in it. I have got another regulator one the same but obviously their straight not 90degree one, and obviously the map sensor is a push on connection so cant screw a 90degree fitting into it doh!!
