sorry to hear this - same thing happened to me - with my 12 yr old Husky- bobo - someone came to look at a car on my drive - now I always open and close gate onto road - guy took car for a test drive - and like a twat - I didnt shut gates straight away but stood nattering on the drive - sods law - someone walking past on otherside of the road witha dog - bobo being him - decides to go over and check it out - when he was smacked by a pick up truck... its the worst noise ever - if you havent heard it. guy stopped and was gutted...broke his back and like you he had a go at me - just shock -as I tried to calm him and pick him up...straight to vets where they did an anal test to see if he had feelings in his back end - but no go and had to put him down there and then..devastateds not the word - I rawed my fooking eyes out in the vets.. and for days after......still never really got over it - as I feel I let him down....

hopefully they can sort him out as they do miracles in them vets..... fingers crossed for you mate...
