This is a point of contention with Myself and Petrucci actually.. allow me to explain...

I read this type of comment occasionally, usually after we have fixed or upgraded something, and me and Pettrucci always ask ourselves the same question...

"Why did no one tell us it was slow?"

If i feel its slow, but none of the other 300online or the 1300 visitors that day have mentioned it, i presume its my own connection at that time, and Pets the same... its English nature to moan when its bad and say nothing if its good so when no one complains we presume theres nothing wrong....

The test i personally do to clarify speed is this:
Sumbit a post in the quick reply box.
click on the "view your message" botton
read the message
click to go back to general discussion topic list.

And i want that whole process to take no longer than about Ten seconds. If thats teh case, then were acceptably fast. Currently i can do that in approximately 5

Bottom line, feel free to let us know if there are problems as otherwise they wont get seen to. We have the hardware to stay fast even with 10,000 online at once, so lets no suffer unmentioned issues eh?
The last few days some of you have complained: Result = fixed.
