My problems were various. Sometimes it would refuse to overboost, and would feel pretty flat. I was also getting some strange error codes out of the ECU - like MAP sensor voltage above spec.

The TSB relates to running some new wires from the MAP sensor to the ECU. It only applies to small turbo models. Apparently because it uses a digital map sensor, having the wiring bundled up in the main loom can cause interference with the wave form resulting in sensor misreads.

The TSB says to cut the wires out and run new cables, however I would suggest getting a MAP sensor plug from something like an XR2, and some spare ECU pins and running completely new wiring from the sensor to the ECU. That way you don't have to cut your original loom and can revert back if you want to.

Do you know anyone else who can test your sensor for you?
