The liability is pretty limited though, it only covers damage to the track, it doesnt cover other cars you may hit and be liable for, or track closure time.

But its better than nothing.

although personally I am still of the opinion that ANY uk insurance policy covers you at the ring for ALL 3rd party costs anyway, under the 1988 road traffic act!

Specifically see section 145(3) and section 148 of the Road Traffic Act.
