Had a visit to Alan Jeffery on the weekend but in fairness to them the car was running faultless so it was hard for them to pin point anything wrong when the car was running fine. He did mention it had been a while since he worked on a rs turbo so he wanted to do some reading to get himself up to speed.

They saw nothing obvious that was wrong so couldn't help much at the time. The distributor looked in good order.

Ill try and give Woodford motorsport a call just to see if they might be able to shed some light on the subject, im assuming working on these cars is something they have experience with?
