botters to some extent, yes. Unfortunately, as the Getrag splines aren't too common, it makes the clutch a low volume item made even worse by a variety of plate diameters and sprung/unsprung hubs across cars that used it (Vauxhall LET20, XE20 in Calibra turbo 4x4, ST170, BMW/Mini Cooper S). So the cost of the clutch kit is still 'premium'.
Also many of the American alloy flywheels are too light for the 2 layshaft box. Causes it to rattle in neutral, though a thicker oil can reduce it.
The UK flywheel/clutch is sourced from Helix, and as I understand it uses a TTV steel flywheel and Sach clutch - organic or paddle.
alexst0ne Sounds as bad as my experience on a clutch replacement I had to have done at a Ford dealer (lease company car). Usually delays (3 days to decide the clutch was gone after it was towed in), then broke a SPAX front strut, gave it back with bad idle (some of the vacuum lines on undrilled nozzles, others left open), and finally stopped on the road (due to all the swarf not cleaned out accumulating on the CPS).
