I imagine its hard enough finding decent people to commit the time and effort to moderate internet forums without treating them this way for just trying to help out a user.
Im sure if there had been the intent to trade then the obvious way would have been to send a pm, then no one would have been any wiser rather than posting the bit of information openly on the forum.
Big loss to the site and its reputation if this was the sole reason for Maria being removed as a mod.

I had my moderation status taken away from me because i posted a for sale link to a car i had available at work.
Shame really... even normal member gets a warning or something for doing something wrong, but it seems the new admin is on a zero tolerance policy now.
Never mind, if this is how i get thanked for a good couple of years modding, im pleased i no longer have to be associated to this site as staff.
