Hi all,got a potential problem with a fiesta tddi on a 2000 plate.this car has been standing for a long time and the alternator had fully siezed on it.after the absolute nightmare job of changing it,I also decided to do an oil and filter change as I noticed the oil light was staying on for ages from cold.now the light goes out as you would expect when starting but flickers on and off all the time which is making me a bit nervous.there's oil getting up to the top of the engine by the oilcap so I'm wondering if there's a pressure switch issue on these cars.I also noticed that even after the oil change,when dipped the oil looked dirtyish so I'm wondering if I should drop just the oil again almost as a flush?any help greatly appreciated,thanks Vaughan
