+2 from experience, the spindle shouldn't wear at the bearing as the inside of the bearing doesn't spin on the hub. I found the seal in the drum had worn a groove in the spindle letting water/dirt etc inside, damaging the bearing and I'd begin to hear the dreaded rumbling.
They are around £65 each from Ford.
