Assuming the arms were fitted correctly and the tracking was done afterwards, as well as the tyre pressures being ok, I guess this is the way the car should drive and you've just gotten used to the soggy feeling of driving on knackered bushes. The steering will be more precise and there will be more feedback from the road.
