Yes the reel is inside the seat. I’ve since made further enquiries and it seems that I will have to remove the seat fabric and foam to get at it. I should think this would require specialist tools to remove/re-install which I obviously haven’t got so it looks like I’ll have to take it to a Ford dealer!
