That is a decent price for a valve spring compressor which is absolutely necessary for installing the keepers into the retainers. I've done several with a compressor. The Snap on Bluepoint is nice, but it's also 3-4 times as much. You're talking to guys that have actually done them with having not wanted to even buy a real valve spring compressor.
