the bigger the number the more boost potential

the cosworth turbo's tend to start with housings of 0.48 A/R size so a little more laggy than escort t3's, but you can fit a cosworth core and compressor side to an escort exhaust housing by undoing six bolts. this will drop peak power, but would give more boost pressure up to that point.
i'm not sure cosworth turbo's had 360 degree bearings as standard, think they were 270 degree ones.
all t3 have 270 bearing's ,i would go for a bigger turbine[cooler exhaust temp as well] but i can live with a bit of lag
if you going over 14 psi i would defo go for a 360
