anybody got a 240v 2 post lift at home? what they like to use being 240v and not 3 phase

I am looking in to moving house and when we do I will be having a large-ish gerage/workshop and will want a ramp is there anything to make sure of other than a good base to bolt it down to ect

also are the prefab building any good or is it worth the extra cash having a propper brick/ block building built?

any help/info will will be much appreciated
