A guy I worked with had consenting sex with a girl he met in a night club , , he didnt think too much into it until the police knocked on his door the next evening and arrested him for rape.

He got locked up on remand and lost his job ,, eventually the girl admitted that it she had consented then regretted it in the morning and cried rape.

He was realised straight away when it all came out but he had been in prison for 5 weeks , she ended up with a slap on the wrists and community service .

His life was wrecked , No job , and people still treated him differently even though he was cleared all everything.

Thats just really wrong IMO

I think that girl have a responsibility to keep them self safe and not to put themselves at risk of rape , NO means No in my eyes but there is things we can do to try and make sure the situation doesn't arise.

I think of my safety first and don't leave it to the risk of hoping someone wont take advantage of me
