Tap the boost gauge SECURELY into the same line the map sensor uses and see if the readings now correspond. If they dont, check the accuracy of the gauge and the 3bar sensor.

The management needs to see the boost.

If its a 2.5 bar map sensor, it can only read up to 22 anyway
