The ecu is def. a P8 weber/iaw version,it hasn't got a CO screw like the Ford sierra cosworth's L8 version.I don't recognise the babyboard though,can you see if the word 'Pectel' is written on the board?,the ecu's ID lable would also tell you the ness. details but it looks unreadable.
As far as i know,all big turboed(Garrett T3/4) escort cosworths had P8 ecu's.
I see that 1 of the small fixing screws inside the ecu is rust stained,prehaps you'd wanna investigate further for poss. water damage?,same thing goes for the engine as the injectors are missing,does the engine turn over ok?.
Do you have the correct wiring loom for the P8 ecu?,the Ford sierra version could be used but you will have to swap around a few wires,MAP sensor,TPS.
The engine looks legit.,just surface rust,was it out in the open?.
I've grafted onto a non Ford engine the wiring loom off a Lancia delta integrale and used a sierra L8 8 injector Pectel super 8 ecu and it works a treat so you'll have no probs. fitting it all mate.
