I've had a week from hell, trying to get from Leicester to Manchester, then going to college then back from Manchester, my RS1800 broke down on my 6 times.

Sometimes stuttering, sometimes cutting out, or just refusing to start.

When I managed to find someone who knew what they were doing!

They said it was a major electrical problem with the ecu locking out the fuel pump, its been bypassed by an auto electriction (now the pump should run constantly, rather than the on demand function) But the same problems happend again (can only think its the ECU and fuel pump again) But im 100% this guy knew what he was on about and he thought hed fixed it...

Its anoying because I dont have the time to spend on the car it needs, selling up is looking very certain in exchange for something abit more reliable.

I think I'm going to have to say goodbye to my RS for a 1.8 mk1 focus :P

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone want a non running RS1800 lol...
