Hi again mate...
Had the car turned up side down this weekend....
Had it up on axle stands, took the fuel tank out and cleaned everything replaced any 6mm fuel pipe replaced all the clips etc... even had my uncle round to blow through the feed and return pipes with his compressor....Replaced the Fuel filter... and all back in with no leaks...
Still no luck! So i called my mate who worx at Ford and he popped round.. checked everything id done, plus voltage/Earth on all the sensors and pump...
We managed to get the car started without any problems but as soon as i put my foot on the accelerator it just wanted to cut out, because of fuel starvation ...
He sed the only thing it can be now is the actual Fuel pump.. even tho its working and has good voltage etc the pump mite not be giving out the needed power to pump the fuel round through the feed and back round to the return pipe! ''As it is the original and 20 years old''...
Getting a second hand job from the scrappy next week hopefully and ill let you no how i get on!
John
