DK. My Dad was diagnosed with this 2 years ago. It had also spread to his shoulder and pelvis. He had the chemo and a bit of radio, and 2 years on he is still here and doing well. I didnt think he would with what i had been told
He has put weight on and at the last checkup the cancer had shrunken even more!
Good luck with it all, and stay positive. My Dad was determined to beat it, and whilst it will never completely go away, he is still doing very good. You would have thought he would have thrown the towel in having just overcome prostate cancer too the year before !
