Fair enough, was just something I've been wondering and as I've got a spare oil cooler I could have used it.
I might use it to cool the water instead.
I don't think my oil goes much over 100-110 so it's not hot in general but was just a thought.
It's got the STD modine that seems up to the job at the mo.
i dont know if this makes a difference but i plan on getting my exhaust manifold, turbo exhaust housing and downpipe all ceramic coated, and heat wrapped, so there will be a lot of heat in the turbo that wouldnt normally be there so will get hotter than normal,
and therefore the heat in the oil in and out of the turbo will be more than what it normally is.
i need to do theis to reduce the ambient temps around the engine
