There is a good Haven site at Perranporth, Perran Sands recently refurbed with a lot of money spent, you can visit the Blue Bar in Porthtowan as its only a 15 minute drive from there, Falmouth is just over half hour away and St Ives is definately worth visiting.
thats where we went last year haven perranporth on the caravan site but for fuck sake dont buy the haven passes for the on site pool ect its a load of shit and waste of money but the site its self is very nice. great for walking on the beach to the town ect the park itself is clean but the on site shop is a ripoff big time.
