The CRB check will show up all records...cautions and convictions!

My CRB check as i have to have one in my job, when it was done showed up a caution i received when i was younger but this has now elapsed 5 years and should be off my record .. i was told my the police at the time it would stay for 5 years so that should be long gone now!!

Depending on how long ago the cautions were, will determine if they will employ him! If they were years ago, they may look and think it was a long time ago and go with him, but they might also look and think its not worth the risk!

We do a lot of CRB checks here, and majority of the time unless child related incidents are on a record we will take them on! :thumb: no harm in trying anyway!

Are the employer paying for the check...? currently they are sitting at about £60, he has nothing to lose if they are paying...!
