ok ta, so it would be down to the employer. they would probably think drugs/violence cautions innappropriate for someone to be working on schools, even though they'd never be working with any kids.

i heard somewhere that poilce cautions are on record for ever, so this would mean 'slap on the wrist cautions' of this type over minor offences will fook some people up for life - jobswise.
