thats certainly about the right money for a solid mk1 project these days. has it got all the glass/lights ect? its the little bits that end up costing more than u think. would be a great project though and make a superb car
the front arches just don't look right to me but i can't tell why 
Could be wrong but they look like they extend down too far at the ends. IMO the rears don't look quite right either unless it's just the angle the photos been taken at.
Edit: Apologies posted this before i'd read the full thread, didn't realise people had already commented on arches until i got to the end.
