You can't use the rule of nine on this engine like the a series metro as firing order is different, 1/3/4/2 on metro 1/2/4/3 on KA, so cam lobes different place, nice to see some young people know the rule of nine though.
If the tappet are still noisy it is possible to turn the rocker shaft after dismantling, by rotating 180 degrees, then turn left for right, this puts the unworn side lowest point, where the wear occurs, and will be good for another 60,000+.
When you do set the clerances pull on the tappet/rocker arm to eliminate any wear, will get a more accurate setting then.
There is a tool you can get called a "click adjust" that does this very thing, I may even have one, will likley never use it again, if I can find it I will donate it you you FOC.
