Only time my license has left the house in the last few years was when I went to Florida, and you have to take it for the hire vehicle.

I never keep any documents on me or in the car, no license ( either part ) nor insurance or anything..........didn't think it was a legal requirement in the Uk, not like in the states............don't need it for ID cos I'm an old fooker anyways.........oh to be ID'd, those were the days
