my snap on minimig 180 has fucked the lance after i stupidly thought that my workmate would be ok to use it without destroying it, what a fuckup that was!

he's fused the wire inside the lance so that it cant be repaired, and i cant get a replacement part from snap on as they say the welder has been discontinued by them for years.

ideally im not bothered what make it is, but im needing a good strong welder capable of doing a lot of welding for MOT repairs, restoration work and some other bits and pieces like cage work etc as well.

what you guys recommend other than another snap on minimig?
