What BB are you on?? 1 Meg??
When I am downloading other stuff the download rate is much better, I haven't tried Microsoft, but when I download via Windows, I generally see anywhere between 50-150kb/sec, which I am fairly happy with.
I understand with P2P that is depends on lots of factors (including the type of connection that the other person is on), but you would have thought that the law of averages would occassionally allow you to see a decent download speed, but 25kb really is the best I have seen for a while. I tried using Bit Tornado, just as an experiment and saw 50kb for a little while, but it was more like 35-40kb most of the time.
I get around 900kb/sec by running the Bandwidthplace Speedtest. It says that I can download a 1 meg file in around 9 seconds. Does that sound about right for BT 1 Meg?
