I've had to rescue my mate once over his. The police had pulled him in a "random" (LOL!) stop in his rs turbo and wouldn't let him move without proving who he was. he rang me and i popped to his house and collected the card part. he only lives 10 mins away and wasn't far from his. He told them i was coming down with his driving license, but they wouldn't believe him, they did 3 searches on him in 20ish minutes and couldn't get his info back aparently and had called for a recovery truck. i turned up with his licence, he came over then and said "oh yeah, you've just come through on the computer now" thanks for that.

Tosser! He got caught well and truely out by having me show up that was all. the car was bang up to date, had his insurance in the glovebox, everything, the car was pristine too. just looking to cause hassle for him for whatever reason.

anyways. i've never needed mine personally, but it saved my mate a night in the cells
