If all else fails....

Is the map sensor in the original place ?

Are the plug leads or coil near the map sensor ?

Is the bracket holding the coil earthed ?

Is the ignition amplifer(s) earthed/bonded to car body/earth ?

Are the plug leads tighly cable tied to each other ? (Bad if they are !)
