As above or weld a nut onto the remains, the heat of this will help as well.
At the end of the day it needs to come out, and is scrap anyway, so if you have to hacksaw a slot hit with a punch at the side to try and rotate, if all fails chisel/grind the head off.

Thanks for your input, must be tricky trying to weld a nut in a confined space. Will attemp to have a go with the advice given.
