I know there was a massive waiting list for the rear quarter panels a little while ago. I don't know if any have come into stock yet, but last I heard there was no plans to produce any more. You'll have to ask ford about whats happening this week with them!!
As for needing a chassis number, no you don't as far as I know, I bought a couple of RS bits before for my old ST170 and I had no bother getting them.
