High just need some advice on buying a new cam.Engine was rebuilt with new pistons,rebore,high pressure oil pump,new stage three head,dissy,hybrid turbo,etc .It was running a piper T2 cam till it wore one lob off and took a tappet with it after only three thousand miles

Have heard of this before with pipers so am after a different make if poss.

Would like the cam to come in at about 2000 rpm,slightly earlyer than the T2 wich came in at 2500rpm
