cat a, b, c, and d can all go back on the road.

the cat marker is an advisory from the insurer and legally means nothing.

in my time at vosa i have vic checked a b and c markered cars.

the only marker that prevents a vehicle from returning to the road is a cod marker which is issued upon a vehicles destruction.

ive seen a few flood damaged cars fall into cat b which may explain yours with no visable repairs
